When rotating anticlockwise, the cutting wing folds into the spindle recess as it passes through the hole.
Once through, the wing automatically opens up into the cutting position. When rotating clockwise, it can begin back spotfacing.
When finished, feed the spindle until the wing is clear of the workpiece and then, rotating anticlockwise, retract the tool.
